UP AND CUMMING

  • 2 November 2026 | Combined Clubs Charity Run @ RYCT, supporting Fight MND
  • 21 November 2026 | Arsecutter and Grassroots‘ wedding @ Bellerive
  • 30 April – 2 May 2027 | Aussie Nash Hash 2027 | Adelaide

Quite a few Hashers were already upstairs at The New Sydney hotel when I arrived.  I had a lovely glass of rose as we waited for the rest of the Hashers to arrive.  It was a pretty good turnout (approx. 30).

Thrillseeker was very eager as he arrived earlier than usual… 6.24pm to be exact.  It was wonderful to see Govna Honkers. Wouldn’t think he was Dead Man Walking (as someone put it) as he let out his deafening, “Hash hush!!!!”, several times.  Loud enough to actually wake the dead.  Also gracing us with their presence in the deep south was Power Pumper and Chuckie from the top end.

The run was slightly late starting as some Hashers were still trying to figure out what to order for dinner.  The run finally commenced at 6.32.  Better late than never.

There was much jostling as Hashers left the premises.  Probably eager to get on trail quickly so that they could return to the pub in haste to down a few more bevvies.

The trail was interesting, we wove our way through Utas campus, over foot bridges. It was a perfect moonlit evening with very pleasant weather.  Grassroots was heard calling out, “Where’s the piss stop?” Unfortunately, there wasn’t one.  Although Sonar may have had a drink or two as he kept trying to get into the front door of the pub even though there was a sign instructing patrons to use the side door.  Perhaps a trip to Specsavers may be warranted? Also lack of the Horn.  Omission by Bad News.

Back at the New Sydney there were long lines of Hashers at the bar trying to get a glass (or two) of their Favorite poison. A bit of queue jumping was going on. Bloody Hashers!  No manners.

All said and done the walk was very enjoyable and cannot attest for the run as I did not (and probably never will) take part in the run.  Good effort Hare Bad News it was a very enjoyable trail.
