RUN 2402 REPORT

A good mob of Hashers gathered on Poley Country, sporting their Christmas in July(Aug) attire!

Poley had  the smoking ceremony underway,with 3 fire pots cheerfully blazing away. This was a BYO drinks affair,so most hashers were indulging in a quiet pre run bevvy.

Around 6.30 we were ushered out front of the on-on for our pre run briefing. The mention of a pisstop was greeted with much excitement,which was quickly forgotten as the long trek to the higher ground of Rosetta was still before us. Still,the night was pleasant,and as usual everyone had a good yak along the way.(no not that Mongolian cow!) Anyway it all made sense,apart from me trying to explain Monty Pythons dinosaur sketch to Cracker!

So,on we went past DNR and Viagras place,to the top of Mary’s Hope Road,where Rectum explained he and Offals places were quite near. Turns out we chucked a righty and walked straight to the pisstop, placed at a panoramic bend in the road with stunning views over the river. This was way too much for ITR, all his corralling instincts came to bear as we were herded into numerous pose positions. We would thank him later,he told us? At the pissstop there was brown or green creamy liquor. I think the brown won, as Brazilian and I finished it.

A short hike down the nearby steps effectively brought us right back to the on-on. We snacked on buns while waiting for the mains, which there was plenty of, followed by some pav.

A good lip session led to a limited Santa show, no less fun than usual. Good effort Poley and Gingernuts!

• Cracker – black eye abd broken ribs dur to a fall after H5 Quiz team dinner (?PFO)
• Ted Bullpit – started training recently – swim, bike, run
• Limp – had to change his clothes when he got to hash due to his “nice aroma”
• Offal and Wrectum – walked down to hash from home, but now need a lift to get back up the hill home
• Fish Fingers – turned up to hash without anything to drink so walked 750m to the nearest pub to buy some
• Just Kidding – going down on trail
• Bee’s Dick – arrived late, but had seconds for dinner
• Limp -> Honkers – organised an Uber to take him to him to his car
• In The Raw -> Cracker – thought the cars travelling on the Brooker Highway were fast-moving boats on the river
• Steptoe -> Shit Creek – lost his skolls book (left it in the toilet)
